I see mistakes everyday and get many phone calls pertaining to these exact blunders. Some of my favorites are thinking all paint is the same and not prepping. Boy oh boy there are many paint jobs gone wrong so visit the list. Please ask for help. It goes a long way!

This one comes up top: “Forgetting what colors you used.” It actually reminds me of what you call “jumping the gun” True, choosing a color scheme can be confusing. I mean, it’s always a challenge especially when it comes to matching the right colors. “If you choose the wrong type or the wrong color, it can completely ruin the design that you have.” True. In fact it seems most folks dedicate the least time to curtains and rugs, more like an afterthought - the reality is, it can make or break your room decor. On the other end of this, especially for bedrooms: “you don’t want your decor to be selected and focused around your sheets” You know, those things can easily change.
