Super Cool Light Fixtures!

I found some super cool light fixtures…. I just had to share.  I’m loving them so much I’m going to find a spot in my home for at least one of these!!

This Garland Light is available at Generate.  This awesome fixture is available in brass, silver, black chrome or white.  The cascading floral patterns allow you to bring nature into your home.  The designer is Tord Boontje who was recently named designer of the year by the Design Museum and Elle Decoration UK.

The Shadow Light, also available at Generate, is another Tord Boontje creation.  It’s a pendant halogen fixture that projects beautiful multi-colored images on surrounding walls.  I could see it being a perfect finishing touch on a nursery!

So go ahead and light up your world!

Something Swanky

I could not resist showing an expansive collection of SwankLighting.com.  Ed Sexton and Doug Taylor found a long hidden treasure of vintage Murano lamps from the 40s, 50s and 60s. They bought the entire inventory and SWANK LIGHTING was born.   This is quite the treasure worth finding again.  A special thanks to Ed Sexton for offering more photos of their collection.

What a colorful treasure.  Enjoy looking……I did!
